The Greenville College Access and Attainment Network (GCAAN) Summer Internship Program is designed to encourage current college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates who graduated from a Greenville high school to gain real-world experience through interning with a Greenville area business. Offering a dynamic and hands-on introduction to the daily operations of a Greenville area business, the Greenville College Access and Attainment Network Summer Internship Program pairs each intern with a company that matches his/her field of study. Interns will work closely with a supervisor on ongoing projects and responsibilities. Training is integral to the interns’ experience. In addition to developing practical work skills, interns will participate in a leadership cohort with other GCAAN Summer Internship Program interns. This cohort will meet throughout the 8-week program to develop leadership skills and attend guest speaker sessions with Greenville area professionals. We try our best to match the intern’s area of study with the host agency’s work, but we cannot guarantee this in all cases.
